Lead Healthcare Projects That Matter

Our global design client is seeking a Senior Interior Project Manager – Healthcare to join their San Francisco team. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional with 10–15+ years of healthcare interior design experience to lead innovative projects that shape the future of patient care and healthcare delivery.

In this role, you’ll guide projects from concept through completion, collaborating with talented multidisciplinary teams while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. You’ll oversee project strategy, scope, budgets, schedules, and team performance, ensuring exceptional outcomes every step of the way.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Interior Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading complex healthcare interior design projects from inception through construction.
  • Managing project teams while balancing client satisfaction, design excellence, and project profitability.
  • Developing project scopes, budgets, schedules, and strategic execution plans.
  • Coordinating consultants, stakeholders, and design professionals throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentoring emerging talent and fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Ensuring project documentation meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Leveraging technology and project management tools to drive efficient project delivery.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 10–15+ years of healthcare design experience.
  • Expertise in space planning, programming, construction documentation, and FF&E.
  • Strong understanding of project financial management, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and other design technologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team development skills.
  • LEED accreditation or commitment to obtaining it.
  • NCIDQ certification or architectural licensure is highly valued.
