DBI has teamed with an outstanding global firm to find a Residential High Rise Market Lead: Seattle.  The High-Rise Residential Market Leader will be a leader in the firm, across all offices.  Success traits are the ability to communicate succinctly, embody and promote company interests, drive studio and firm wide goals forward, solve problems, and participate in informed recommendations and improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Our client values team.Developing respect and a strong working relationship with employees and leaders of the Firm with by a key success measurement
  • Ensure success of the Residential High Rise market in conjunction with the commercial market leader in the Seattle market, and beyond
  • The role will lead the design efforts for the market in partnership with studio leadership, this includes developing and expanding client opportunities and relationships.Establish new relationships with prospective clients on behalf of the firm
  • Develop personal leadership participation and visibility externally in the commercial market on behalf of our client
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for business development, project management, and design services for the market
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the studio’s principals, project managers, designers, and project staff

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience, with the majority of experience in residential high rise projects
  • Established credentials in the industry, regarded as an industry design leader
  • Current architectural registration
  • Proven ability to build a team
  • Ability to serve as a positive influence who inspires and motivates
  • Ability to hand sketch and work well with clients to graphically express ideas and solutions
  • Strong business and management acumen
  • Portfolio of built work in the high-rise residential market
  • Ability to bring in and close new business
  • Strong connections in high-rise residential
  • Ability to travel
