Architects, Star Wars, and Gingerbread
For 23 years, a team of local architects, contractors, and chefs, have partnered with the Sheraton Seattle to bring attention to and raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) here in Seattle. This group of creative professionals comes together and uses their design, building, and culinary skills to create one of the most unique gingerbread villages around and this year is no exception with its timely Star Wars theme.
The team here at DBI decided that this would make a great opportunity to celebrate a great cause and to highlight some of the work that many of the architecture and design professionals that we work with do in our community. So, we ventured out into the wet Seattle weather to explore the 23rd Annual Gingerbread Village at the Sheraton Seattle. Check out some photos of this year’s gingerbread village:
