We’re looking for an exceptional Project Manager / Architect with 10+ years of experience to lead the design and documentation of high-end, custom residential projects that demand serious craft, clarity, and attention to detail.
If you love refining the details, running a tight set, building strong client trust, and delivering architecture that’s both elevated and buildable, this role is for you.
You’ll have real design ownership, high visibility, and a meaningful seat at the table across every project phase—with opportunities to branch into commercial and multi-family work, too.
What You’ll Do
You’ll lead projects with confidence, creativity, and technical excellence, including:

Owning the design, detailing, and documentation of interior + exterior architecture

Guiding projects from schematic design through construction administration

Managing schedules, work plans, budgets, and documentation with strong follow-through

Coordinating seamlessly with consultants and internal production teams

Mentoring and leveling up junior + intermediate staff

Building trusted, high-touch relationships with clients—and setting clear expectations around budget and schedule

Holding the bar for quality control, technical accuracy, and consistent studio standards
What You Bring
We’re excited about candidates who are highly technical, design-minded, and steady under pressure. You should have:

10+ years post-degree experience in custom, high-end residential
(commercial/multi-family is a plus) -
Strong expertise in construction detailing, documentation, and Type V construction
(Type III / podium experience is a bonus) -
A track record of leading teams + consultants through complex scopes

Confidence managing clients with high expectations and high standards

Revit mastery (AutoCAD is a plus)

Familiarity with AIA contracts, construction administration, and tools like Procore

Skills in Adobe Suite; bonus points for SketchUp, Enscape, and visualization workflows

California licensure preferred (or actively in progress)
